The journey of designing and building meaningful places can be very challenging. There are many hoops to jump through on the way to your desired project, Council and building requirements make just two of these hoops. Assuring the process is as easy and enjoyable as possible for you, Matt breaks the project down into bite sized pieces, while always keeping the big picture in mind. Establishing realistic goals that match the budget, while taking advantage of the unique context of each project, your objective is Matt’s objective, and he works tirelessly to achieve it.
Matt’s love for Architecture is indelible to his nature, his first project was at the age of 6, when he began building treehouses in his backyard. He soon found himself assisting his father in building decks and home extensions. Matt has worked with various materials and construction methods, even tig welding a custom aluminium BBQ from scratch. If it wasn’t for his love of design, Matt would have definitely become a builder. Following this passion for Architecture, Matt enrolled at QUT, to start the long path to becoming an Architect. Matt was fortunate to work for DBI Design while at university, and gained extensive experience across a broad range of projects, including high rise mixed-use residential, commercial and railway infrastructure projects. Matt graduated from QUT in 2015 with a Master of Architecture and soon registered as a Building Designer to establish “Matt Bradley Designs”.
Matt is based in Brisbane and grew up on the Sunshine Coast. He knows South-East Queensland very well and absolutely loves the Queensland lifestyle.
