QUT Pavilion | QUT | Pavilion

Three design iterations for the QUT Pavilion using Grasshopper 3D.

Grasshopper allows for the most complex geometries to explore and that's exactly what I set out to achieve. There was a natural pedestrian flow across the site and the building foot print widens this slightly and still allows people to flow around it like water flowing around a ship's hull. The facade was shaped like a hull for this reason. One side is like a shipwreck with fluid panel movements that replicate and the other is simple straight lined panels that replicate.
